We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our IT team responsible primarily for enhancing and maintaining the server side of our existing applications, incorporating new features and modules and so on.

If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Back-end developer, you’ll work closely with our existing team of engineers to ensure system consistency and improve overall customer experience.

Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company’s needs.

Responsibilities at a high level:
– Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
– Write clean code to develop functional web applications, troubleshoot and debug applications
– Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
– Ensure optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
– Provide training and support to internal teams from time to time
– Build reusable code and libraries for future use
– Follow emerging technologies

Requirements and skills
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar and or relevant degree.
– At least two years’ experience as a Node.js developer.
– Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express etc.
– Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
– Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
– Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB preferred.
– Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
