Job Description:
We are looking for an Android Developer with 2+ years of experience in development and maintenance of Android apps to work as an independent contributor as well as mentor junior developers within the team. Knowledge in both Android & iOS apps is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
You will be entrusted with the following,

• Developing mobile applications on Android platform.
• Create and maintain a robust mobile development framework to support the apps
• Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
• Standardizing the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
• Optimizing performance for the apps
• Stay up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies and be a technology leader within the team.

Requirements and skills
• Android (Java)
• Kotlin React Native/ionic/Flutter etc. will be an added advantage.

Must Haves:
A suitable candidate must possess the following
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and its different versions of Android
• Ability write code to efficiently deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with threading, and performance tuning

• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
• Familiarity with integration of Third Party Libraries
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

Qualification:
BE/ B Tech/ M Tech/ MCA and any Graduate.
